The Lambeth Made Create Your Future Summer Programme is designed to provide young people aged 16-19 (up to 25 with additional needs or a care-experienced) living in Lambetwith a positive experience of learning a new skill, meeting new people and developing a positive mindset to enable you to move forward into employment, training or gaining a qualification.

Aim High Career Mentoring & Employability Programme

Delivered by Aim High Dance Academy  

A FREE 4-week summer programme which includes:

  • Hands-on work experience working with children at Aim High's Summer Camp.
  • Build employability skills through CV writing, interview preparation, 1-to-1 mentoring and career planning.
  • The opportunity to achieve a First Aid or Safeguarding qualification to boost your CV.
  • Meeting local employers, growing your professional network and receive ongoing training, volunteering opportunities and future career support.

Grooveschool's Creative Industries Programme

Delivered by Grooveschool 

 

 A FREE 4-week programme which aims to help kickstart creative career with practical experience, expert industry insight and tailored career support. This programme includes:

  • Hands-on training in DJing, music production, podcasting, video production, photography and digital content creation.
  • Work alongside Creative Mentors in professional studios on real creative projects and live events.
  • Create a professional portfolio while receiving 1-to-1 mentoring, industry talks and employer networking opportunities.
  • Build creative, digital and employability skills, with opportunities to work towards a recognised qualification.

IGNITE Programme

Delivered by Gina's For The Community 

Igniting confidence, skills and brighter futures for young people, a FREE 4-week programme offering:

  • Up to three Level 2 accredited qualifications, including Food Hygiene, while building employability skills.

  • Practical work experience, volunteering opportunities and employer led workshops with professionals from a range of industries.

  • 1-to-1 mentoring, CV and interview support, career planning and networking with inspiring guest speakers.

  • Healthy meals, graduation celebrations and ongoing support into
    jobs, apprenticeships, further education and volunteering opportunities.

Main Location: Brixton

 

 

House of NEON Workforce 

Delivered by Neon Performing Arts

 

A FREE 5-week programme that includes:

  • Five industry-recognised qualifications, including First Aid, Safeguarding, Fire Marshal, Conflict Management.
  • Hands-on experience through paid work-shadowing and paid placements at live events and festivals.
  • Receive 1-to-1 mentoring, CV and interview support, career coaching and opportunities to network with employers.
  • Develop practical skills for the creative and events sector, with access to the House of NEON Workforce Pool and a 12-month membership on completion.

CRAFT Programme  

Delivered by Art4Space

CRAFT, Create Routes And Future Transitions, is a FREE 4-week programme that includes:

  • Access to gaining an Arts Award qualification while exploring ceramics, mosaics, textiles and painting.
  • Receiving 1-to-1 mentoring, CV and interview support, career planning and employer connections.
  • Opportunity for work experience placement with Art4Space and to
    develop creative, digital and employability skills.
  • Earn a £10 weekly attendance incentive, enjoy free healthy snacks
    and get ongoing support into education, training or employment.

Bright Enterprise Academy

Delivered by Bright Centres

A FREE 4-week programme that includes:

  • An accredited employability qualification while building workplace and enterprise skills.
  • Develop and deliver your own enterprise project, taking on roles such as marketing, finance or content creation.
  • 1-to-1 mentoring, CV and interview support, career planning and guidance from employers and guest speakers.
  • Take part in workplace visits, networking and meaningful work experience to prepare for education, employment or training.
